Job Description

THE POSITION

Our client is a Brisbane based RTO currently seeking experienced Trainer and Assessors to join their team. Trainers will be responsible for delivering quality training and assessment ensuring progression and completion of allocated students. This position is for trainers who are qualified to deliver CHC52015 – Diploma of Community Services, CHC43015 – Certificate IV in Ageing Support, CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support and CHC43415 – Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver structured, flexible, relevant and engaging training sessions
  • Assist all students regardless of level to achieve their training goals
  • Support students to complete their courses as per their Training Plans and course schedules
  • Develop and deliver courses in accordance with Training Packages and industry requirements
  • Ensure all training resources are current and are compliant
  • Participate in and contribute to validation and moderation
  • Complete and maintain all training records accurately and document assessment results for submission
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the Training department and wider organisation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements

 

Essential qualifications and skills

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma of Community Services
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Previous training industry experience
  • Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
  • Experience researching and developing training materials and programs
  • High level organisational and administrative skills
  • Focused on student engagement and learning
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Ability to self-motivate as well as motivate others
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be receptive and positive to change

 

Salary

$55-$75 per hour

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

During his time in the Industry, he has worked extensively with over 200 Automotive Dealers across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

He has been operating a Training and Consulting service for Automotive Dealers for the past 15 years and is highly conversant in all aspects of the Automotive Retail Industry specialising in the Customer Experience and the operational processes.

Caitlin has worked for more than 20 years in the community services, children's services and education sector and has extensive experience in these areas. She has managed Outside School Hours Services, delivered training and assessment for Early Childhood Education and Care and Outside School Hours Care and written programs and training materials in these areas.

Caitlin also has experience in quality and compliance assessment and support for Early Childhood Education and Care services and Outside School Hours Care services. She has been involved in the management of government grants and delivery of services for children and young people in the Out of Home Care, the development and delivery of National Quality Framework training and support for Early Childhood Education and Care services and Outside School Hours Care services.
